Doors Open Toronto is one of our favourite events at 365Toronto! If you’ve never experienced this unique weekend, make sure you check it out this year! Today and tomorrow, Torontonians and tourists alike will have the opportunity to explore several of Toronto’s most architecturally significant buildings, buildings that are typically not open to the public – and it’s all free! Last year’s roster of buildings included City Hall’s podium green roof, the Drake Hotel, Evergreen Brick Works, the John St Roundhouse, Kasian Architects, Old City Hall, the Redpath Sugar Refinery, St. James Cathedral, the Textile Museum of Canada, Regis College and many more! You’ll get tours of these buildings, find out about their history, their current use, and even learn about some of the myths/urban legends that surround some of Toronto’s most historic structures.
